Blind People Can See With Their Tongue!
This gadget, known as The BrainPort Vision Device, is a visual prosthetic assistant that transfers data from a digital video
camera to mild electrical stimulation that can be “seen” with your tongue. The electrical stimulation on the “lollipop” (Small electronic device placed onto the top surface of the tongue)takes form as pixels of the image viewed by the digital camera. Although these pixels are larger and less clear than standard vision, studies have shown astonishing results.
